Recommended For: regular in-house monitoring of poultry stocks
Ideal For: poultry house litter testing for Salmonella

Known Limitations

MRD is a non-selective medium that aids general organism recovery; further selective enrichment is required for specific detection.

Variations in appearance may occur due to absorbent material settling over time, sometimes showing coloured precipitate. This is normal and does not affect product performance or sterility. Gently massage the boots (while still sealed) to redistribute media before use if needed.
