TS/17-A250 – Single swab in tube with flexible white shaft (recommended where flexibility is required)

Known Limitations

Single use only – not suitable for reprocessing or reuse

Dry swabs may not preserve certain viruses/microorganisms well – if no exudate present, pre-moisten with 1–2 drops of sterile saline

Rigid shaft – not suitable for procedures requiring flexibility; use TS/17-A250 instead

Not recommended for chlamydial sampling due to cotton tip material
