50 cm² blue cellulose sponge dosed with Neutralising Buffer, packaged in an easy-open stomacher pouch.​

Recommended For: Environmental and hygiene monitoring where chemical residue neutralisation is desired.​

Ideal For: Surface sampling for hygiene monitoring and control programs.​

Organism Recovery: Effective for recovering organisms such as TVC, Listeria spp., Staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae (e.g., Salmonella, E. coli, Enterobacter, Klebsiella, Enterobacter sakazakii).​

Known Limitations:

Neutralisation is limited to surface residues.

Occasional settlement of suspended ingredients may occur, leading to coloured precipitate on the sponge or pouch, particularly in corners. Gently massage the sponge through the pouch before use.

After sampling, surfaces must be wiped before use.

For direct food sampling, consider using TS/15-B:NaCl or TS/15-B:PSD.​

Shelf Life: 14 months.​

Sterilisation Method: Gamma Irradiated to achieve a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶.
