Description

Pre-dosed environmental sampling sponge with neutralising buffer, attached to a straight breakpoint handle. Supplied in an easy-open stomacher pouch for convenient processing.

Recommended For: environmental monitoring where chemical residue neutralisation is required
Ideal For: easier sampling in awkward or hard-to-reach areas. Suitable for recovery of organisms such as:
TVC, Listeria spp., Staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae (e.g. Salmonella, E. coli, Enterobacter, Klebsiella, E. sakazakii)

Precautions & Limitations

Neutralisation is limited to surface residues only

Sponge may detach if used on abrasive or tight surfaces â€“ handle with care

Precipitate may appear in pouch corners due to ingredient settling; massage sponge through pouch before use

Post-sampling cleaning is required before reusing surfaces

For direct food sampling, use: TS/15-SA, TS/15-B:NaCl, or TS/15-B:PSD

Shelf Life: 14 months
Sterilisation Method: Gamma Irradiation (SAL 10â»â¶)
