Tetrasensor helps detecting the amount of tetracycline antibiotics present in honey samples. These drugs are extensively used in veterinary and human medicine for the treatment of a wide variety of bacterial infections.​

This screening test allows detecting all tetracycline molecules (tetracycline, oxytetracycline, doxycycline and chlortetracycline) at least at 10 ppb.​
