Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic used in veterinary medicine to treat bacterial infections in a wide range of species. It has a broad spectrum of activity against Gram-positive organisms.

However, antibiotic residues in milk above tolerance levels interfere with dairy product processing and pose potential health risks to consumers.

TyloSensor is a rapid test detecting the contamination of milk samples by Tylosin molecules.
